Monero scales just fine to the number of users that care about privacy. It doesn't require any custodial solutions that introduce KYC, fractional reserve, rugpull etc. either.

Payment channels could even be tried on monero: https://xcancel.com/fluffypony/status/1817251126540144909

Registered on bitcointalk today for 3 reasons:

- Nostr is mostly custodial stuff and KYC enthusiasts

- Prefer long form technical discussion

- Some users on bitcointalk already experimenting with joinstr

Will also be active on darknet forums like dread.

He might try to introduce KYC in bitcoin for corporations.

Nobody is looking for dictators though. Only better decision making and less dysfunctionality.

Is Google groups accessible in all countries?

Self custodial #lightning is quite easy to use now. I had some problems with that a time ago but now it seems to improved a lot.

The simplest thing is nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9g84ctjf embedded node on the phone. Simple, quick, works like charm. It may break but fund will be restored on chain easily. I broke my first node, not sure how. Now the second one is just working.

The other setup I use is nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfc6c32nl LND + nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0s8jq7y6 Hub with AlbyGo or Zeus and NWC to zap seamlessly on Nostr.

I have just today spun CLN node and connected to Zeus to test BOLT12. Just like that. Getting some incoming liquidity with Olympus is also quick job (paid elm invoice from other wallet).

Right, when it breaks it is all up to me to restore it. This is not for average Joe who might have problem choosing right program on his washing machine but still it is great progress.

It takes only a few minutes to setup an embedded LN node in Zeus on mobile:

Lot of respect for developers who are trying to improve self custodial UX.

Anyone who cares to donate can do it directly. There is only one thing at play and its marketing.

Explain this to FBI when they target other mints to comply.

You are free to help corporations, governments and cucks. I prefer to use available resources to improve self custodial UX.
