"In the fell clutch of circumstance

I have no winced nor cried aloud

Under the bludgeonings of chance

My head I bloody but unbowed"

We are with you Keonne and William.

The parallels between this (hoffmanesque) line of thinking and religious thought is striking.

"You can't see God in his true form, only what he allows you to see, or what he has determined that you should be able to see."

You can translate the framing of his description of human experience pretty much 1 to 1 to make it make sense from a religious perspective.

"Has the universe ever winked at you?"

Wtf happened to fountain? It's super broken, doesn't load the home page, doesn't update. I've re-downloaded it several times. Its too bad, I liked that app

No, that would imply that intention is what makes an action good or evil.

Metaphysics is what it's all about my friend.

The structure of reality can be described in different ways and still be coherent and true. Nothing is more juvenile to someone who sees the world through a particular lens (or metaphysical understanding) than someone telling them they can't see the truth.

JBP - God is whatever you put in the highest place. It's what you serve if you do good.

This is meant definitonally. It's a metaphysical worldview centered around good and evil. Two things that certainly exist.

Rejecting the metaphysics of good and evil is obviously possible, but consider the outcome before casually dispensing with a judeo-christian God.

Your life is a story that you tell with your actions. Once you decide who you want to be, responsibility for your life is a divine privilege.
