This seems like an appropriate time to share a great term I recently heard:

AWFLs (Angry White Female Leftists)

1. Interoperability

2. Open protocol

3. Decentralized relay structure

4. Possibility for true anonymity

5. Zaps/V4V

I'm not on there so don't see most of the drama

Like, mocked it on X or something?

A strategic eBook library (preferably of digital books that are *owned* not rented and can be backed up to a non-internet-enabled device) is good.

The trade offs with most eBook and E-reader options is yet more screen time, eye strain, the ease for bad actors to erase or stealth edit books, and the data collection. Despite the cost and space issues, I still prefer physical books.

Are these posts connected? 😉

If I were accused of collecting anything, it would be books as well. I'm more choosy these days over what I acquire (limited space and funds necessitate it) but I do keep grabbing more. I see the collection as being a rich inheritance for my children as well as a private library for our church/community. I am a steward as much as an owner/collector.

Thanks! Based on a quick skim nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd4hk6tcqyprqcf0xst760qet2tglytfay2e3wmvh9asdehpjztkceyh0s5r9cpvx58v probably best represents what I was looking for. There does seem to be a lack of Deeply technical people on nostr, or maybe they're just hard to find!

I've definitely comes across STEM folk but don't follow many. They're around. Good luck, sir ✌️
