Here for the Freedom Tech

Just change the measuring stick and everything is ok.

That’ll be the day I hit my crossroads. Still ā€œconsumeā€ over on Twitter, I mean X, for topics that haven’t made their way to Nostr yet. But all my social media interaction is strictly Nostr šŸ¤™šŸ¼

Once it’s a fully paid model, it will continue to overreach in the name of bots and require all users to upload photo ID. Gradually, then suddenly, but in the wrong direction šŸ˜‚

Agreed. Love how Breaking Bad was such an innocent show too. Didn’t have the goal of being the greatest show ever, but naturally grew into it. Similar to #bitcoin

Really enjoyed this article. One question, other than demand signals, what is the incentive for bitcoin miners to turn off during high demand? Is it simply the risk they themselves would cause blackouts, and the result would be the same as just turning off? Or do energy costs temporarily spike and it’s a simple profitability calculation?

Specifically claims about fiber consumption and greens/vegetables consumption. Most people can benefit greatly from increasing consumption of those (and meats). He just takes it to an extreme. If you’re interested, I’d recommend reading Dr. Layne Norton’s article going through Joe’s claims he made while on Joe Rogan.

Meat is fantastic for you. But Paul Saladino has some pretty awful unfounded claims about nutrition outside of latching onto the carnivore diet extreme, which he makes his claim to fame, engagement, and money from.
