Is #eNuts a custodial or a non-custodial wallet?
Well, it stands as both and neither.
In simple words, it is a client that acts as a bridge to any mint and manages #ecash tokens issued by mints in a local database in your device.
It is simply a bearer token manager. Nothing else.
The transition into a custodial wallet might happen once we introduce our own default mint but even this remains optional and therefore subject to discussion for the term custodial wallet.
To simplify the experience for newcomers, we will continue providing a default mint for now.
However, users have the flexibility to host their own independent non-custodial mints, connect it to the wallet and transform the app into a "non-custodial wallet". They can send and receive Ecash from various mints and swap between mints anytime as desired.
In essence, #eNuts users don't have to place trust in the wallet; instead, they can place trust in each other.

Can you send the token in its own message, separate from the info about who sent it, so that it’s easier to copy? Right now in Damus you have to copy and paste the entire text of the DM into a note app and then copy just the token to then paste it into the enuts app to redeem. Maybe other clients handle it better, but would be easier if the token is in its own message.

Not sure yet. Looks like a data migration issue. For some ppl it works fine, others deleted and re-installed the app (make sure to move the funds before) and it worked for them afterwards but that is not a solution. Currently investigating. A fix will be published asap. Sorry for the inconvenience! 😔
How do you get this feature to work in the nostr:npub1dx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6st288sj app? When someone DMs me cashu tokens they don’t show up here and I have to manually copy and paste from my DMs in my Nostr client. 
eNuts can't access your Nostr account DMs due to its lack of access to your private key. Instead, it generates a new key for sending Ecash. When you send Ecash via Nostr, the recipient gets it from your new eNuts public key. If the recipient replies to that DM with an Ecash token, you will be able to claim it in the wallet. It is confusing and we're working on a secure solution to allow private key imports.
