Happy Birthday nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg! š
We launched Primal one year ago today, after about 1.5 months of coding. Check out my elaborate announcement below.
Its' been a crazy year; so much has happened. Both Nostr and Primal have a lot of momentum now. Next year is going to be insane. We are super-grateful to be on this journey with all of you. š

Bravo man!
I just downloaded it. So much smoother than what I was previously using.
Not good enough yet. Still tuning it.
Hopefully end of month weāll post on huggingFace and nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8's unleashed.chat
Shitcoiners make the same claims.
And heās been pitched many many times with that kind of narrative, but insert {x crypto decentralised network} as solution.
Heās asking āwhy the hell is it different this timeā
Would like to send him down rabbit hole
Finalllly getting back on here.. I noticed nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m said itās international Nostr pill day.
So I decided to go out and hit some people up. Managed to hook a sizeable fish today.
Whatās the best single podcast (ideally) or essay to send him to close the deal?

Premature, perhaps.
But in life we get what we reward.
I think if people like us keep voicing support, then there is a reinforcing factor
Youāre on the right track for sure.
I think conquest and growth has a part to play, and lines are never clearly drawn.
But yes. Virtue #10 in āBushidoā that ties all the virtues together is āSelf controlā
The ultimate ability to direct oneās will and power.
Plato:
āThe measure of a man is what he does with powerā
Therefore by my estimation, itās not power that is the problem, but like u said at the end, those who abuse it.
āPower corrupts the weakā
Iāll die on this hill.
Also..
Yes - anonymous uses of oneās power for productive, noble causes is of course a beautiful thing.
But both are necessary. And no matter how anon, there will always be a story and myth that develops around great deeds and the great figures who do those deeds.
Itās the ONLY reason why bitcoin is here today. It was a great deed done by a great man/group and we continue to celebrate it.
The story matters more than the thing itself. We are deeply wired to interpret all of reality through a story.
Greatness is simply the highest of stories. And great men inspire the best stories.
Thanks again for the comments.
Enjoying the discussion
I need to come on nostr more often
Letās break it down:
1. Paternal.
Yes. Paternal energy is order forming. The role of a father is to be a leader. The role of a leader is to establish order and to be an example. I used my words very deliberately. Mileiās job and in fact, DUTY, is to bring a paternal form of leadership - the opposite of what a standard statist will do, which is to bring chaos and immaturity.
2. Shepherd
Related to the above, but more relevant to the fact that most people are sheep.
And I donāt use that as a sleight here. Whether regarded sheeple or just good people that arenāt interested in being āout in frontā and want to follow a good example - the fact of the matter is that most people need a shepherd
That does NOT mean a meddling bureaucratic micro manager. That doesnāt mean some statist wierdo that gets in all your business, watching over your shoulder ever minute. Thatās not a shepherd. Thatās a deranged lunatic.
A good shepherd guides.
He cares for his flock.
He ensures that they are protected from danger
Thatās the role of a good leader.
Milei intuitively carries both energies.
Hope that clarifies.
Actually - I did find this little tweet from earlier in the year which is worth a quick read:
Iāve got some writings on the virtues of War and Alexander coming up.
Will poast when released.
Also have a whole array of historical anecdotes throughout the Bushido book coming out next year..
BUTā¦.in the meantime.. this video by Asha Logos is one of the FEW out there which does that man, his character and his legacy justice:
Politics is just as important.
Iāve come around the understanding that if strong men abdicate their duty to lead and inspire, then it leaves a vacuum for the parasites to fill.
Decentralised governance is a consequence of organisational competition.
In other words, it implies the existence of politics, because that is precisely the definition of the latter.
Thatās a fundamental misinterpretation of the word strong. Strong doesnāt mean that you tie someoneās hands behind their back so you can beat them in a fight.
Thatās weakness.
The word strong is most closely related to responsibility. Both are determined by what one can bear. They are carrying capacities.
Second of all, Alexander and Napoleon were far from Tyrants. They were perhaps the men of the highest virtue who ever lived. Maybe only second to Christ in character.
Conflict is a natural part of life and war is but a natural, more complex, human manifestation of conflict. Itās a natural part of conquest. And itās the ONLY reason we are here today. Conflict is just as important as cooperation, and one cannot exist without the other.
But thatās a deeper topic.
One Iāll write about in the future
With regards to the āstrengthā discussion above, Breedlove and I recorded the best episode weāve ever done on Monday. That will be out in Jan, but we covered this topic in great detail. This was the essay / source material we referenced:

Encourage you to hit that.
Ping me your thoughts..

Haha - no ideas. Just maturing in life. Also remember those years were peak covid hysteria. So I was pretty enraged and angry with the world. Podcasts were my outlet.
No need for that anymore though
