The end goal would be something like https://www.fakewomanwould.com/.wellknown/nostr.json. How you get it there depends on your access and software. If it was me I’d just do a file transfer. If you have software that deploys the whole site it might get removed, so you’d need to put it in with their code (such as in a repo like that page describes)
Yeah it’s not obvious on my domain which just allows you to add CNS Names or whatever, there’s not FTP as far as I can tell.
Want to get my other Nostr account verified, own a domain name, but what do they mean by “upload a .json file? Upload it to where? The domain provider has a DNS area, but it is not obvious where I would store a file.
I’m trying to bring them in from fantasy sports which was my industry. They are trickling in:

I used to think of “God-fearing” as the descriptor of an authoritarian — someone who fears punishment from the most powerful entity.
But there is another sense of it, and that’s seeing God as one’s innermost self. In which case a God-fearing person is one who above all fear betraying his own deepest truths. Another word for this kind of God-fearing is “based.”
Maybe. I think these things too.
But if you’ve ever seen the movie, Midnight Express, based on a true story, where the guy is in a Turkish prison for years, and one day, he just walks out. (He had to kill a guard, almost accidentally), but the door was open, and he just leaves.
It could also go like that. A new hard money, different incentives, one day the State and its minions try something, and there’s no power, no way to pay for it.
Good axioms and let nature do its thing.
serious question — maybe I should tag some NOSTR-knowledgable people #[0] #[1] #[2] #[3] — if you suspect you’ve been sloppy with your private keys (though they are not, to your knowledge, compromised yet), is there a way to swap it for a new private key with all your account info/followers, etc. intact, and then destroy the original?
Obviously, with bitcoin, if you had texted your private key to someone foolishly, and nothing yet had happened, you could just send the funds to a new address and they’d be safe. Is there something similar you could do with NOSTR to salvage your security here?
I have no idea which client is safe to put a private key into, and they’re all on internet-connected devices. Is it possible to start again with everything intact? If not, could this be a NIP project? Thanks!
Trade-off between anonymity and using your reach to spread the word. Unless your reach via nym from the start. If you have a podcast that people already listen to, how can you not talk about the most important thing in the world?
Unfortunate thing about Twitter is it needed to be a protocol, but because it was centralized, it had to be a platform, so it was inevitable careerist apparatchiks like Linda Yaccarino and Vijaya Gadde would be making sure the “lawful, but awful” speech would be banned or throttled.
No offense to those two, who I’m sure were good at their roles, but people like that are the reason Twitter will ultimately fail, no matter how much Elon promises and markets and bullshits about free speech. You can’t have a centralized platform with busybodies in charge and honor the promises. It’s a square circle, something inherently contradictory from the get-go.
real man writes “sats” 2.1 quadrillion times no matter how many lifetimes it takes.
Capital gains
I can’t imagine anyone who is that’s not totally insane.
St. Brown will get more targets, but Waddle is better IMO. More explosive, more dangerous with the ball in his hands. ARSB might score more than last year, but he’ll rarely get behind the entire defense. ARSB miight have a narrow edge in PPR due to volume, but it’s pretty close.
Maybe someone has said this before, but MMT is a perpetual motion machine.
If people being bothered by masks bothers you, that’s ok.You have a right to be bothered by what you are bothered by.
imagine if you didn’t have access to or knowledge of bitcoin’s price in dollars. The price in dollars is just some other trading partners’ (perhaps not free-market, good-faith ones even) opinions. What does it matter to you?
Yes, it is.
Question — if you sign up for a NOSTR account under an anonymous handle, is there no way to trace your real identity?
