Damn, I have the same problem, even though I don't have anything stable in the bitcoin world right now. I could do a lot of things though, not necessarily technical either.
New miner with watercooling, three-phase power input. I wonder if the fittings are good for house circulation.
Looking forward to this, any sanctions in the future or censoring exploits is going to be a thing of the past!
OpenSats Announces Support for The Tor Project
This grant will expand The Tor Project's onion service team to enhance DDoS protection and ensure reliable, anonymous communication, crucial for Bitcoin and nostr users in censored regions.

Isn't state department already funding them?
It seems that people haven't been picking up on MACSEC at all in the privacy space, even though it provides protocol level anonymity (mac addresses are easily changed and reveal nothing about the communicating parties).
MACSEC can be wrapped and lifted to eg. ipv6 GRE frame and transported over Tor with onioncat. If you wanna go i2p there is garlicat for that.
This would create a really private and easily used way to connect different LANs via Tor.
As long as TLS doesn't start to bite you :)
this has to be the most important things thats nostr can do to open up the world, it was already so dangerous that Iran was excluded from github by microsoft due to international limitations to source code

Not really unless the websocket nonsense is superceded by something that is more resilient and could be ran over tor properly. Also all the relays require a DNS address due to TLS, which is also the reason that using them over Tor is really hard, due to the timing constraints of it.
didn't anyone care about the DSL talk on sunday ... groundbreaking ease on creating complex transactions with ruby interop
This quote is from Steve Baker (NSA General Counsel)
"Metadata absolutely tells you everything about somebodyÃs life. If you have enough metadata, you donÃt really need content."
See:
"We kill people based on metadata"

Yes and its also quoted in the book. Just surprised that same methaphors were used about metadata as in the book.
Nostr is going the right way but it is still applicable to this operation of DNI https://www.dni.gov/files/documents/CLPO/CLPO%20Publication_Publicly%20Available%20Information_July%202011%20-%20Public%20Release%20Version.pdf
this is from "Means of control" by Byron Tau, along with the letter metaphor
Are private message notes sent via all the connected relays?
not with these babble generators (large language model)
Wow Amethyst is looking really snazzy!!
Has there been any consistent effort on creating a OTR messaging system for Nostr? (OTR means Off The Record) Or in general, making the messaging more secure than just relying on websocket and tls security?
