I can't wait to go on my annual Digital Reset this year.

Every year I take about 1-2 weeks 100% offline and no social media or chat of any kind. This helps reset myself and I feel more energized, less anxious and more focused when I come back in the New Year.

The Digital Detox is healthy even if there is mild FOMO for missing out on the interactions for a few weeks.

2023 has been incredibly productive with my 10% spare time, and I look forward to reconnecting with everyone again in the New Year!

The travel would be necessary or you wouldn’t be able to accelerate through the light and get closer and closer to present day. Staring from simply 1000 years away doesn’t tell you much.. yes, I’m sure many of those civilizations would be extinguished upon arrival. But if these beings move in a way we can’t understand, virtually instantaneous, that wouldn’t matter to them. They are simply collecting data.

I think you’re misunderstanding what I was saying…. Imagine a being, non human, or human with some new found intelligence and the ability to scan photons and absorb information via light.

Imagine You are sitting on a planet, looking through a telescope and see a planet 1000 light years away…. Therefore you are seeing the planet as it was 1000 years ago. Then you accelerate through the light of that planet at a speed beyond the speed of light.. as you get closer you would be receiving the light from 999 light years, 998, 990, 900, 800 (the planet as it was 800 years ago) and so on…. As you travel you would be reading the planets light from 1000 years ago to present day when you arrived and if you were capable of transferring information with photons you would have absorbed much of the planets knowledge on your trip.

If a being possessed the ability to read light and also the ability to travel at or above light speed they would be able to fly towards an object thousands of light years away and read the planet’s history as they traveled through its light.

If they started at 1000 light years away they would be ingesting the information of 1000 years as they beamed through its photons and read them as a planetary history on their way to the object.
