Lamb Shank. Good but too salty. The flavor of the lamb is shadowed.

Yes, I saw your post.

The 3 months long kind-1 experiment has been a great learning experience.

The problem I want to solve here is not really kind-1 feed. It's more like feed building or generic search / note descovery. I don't intend to build "write" feature for kind-1 or 30023. I don't even indent to build a good View.

It's more like a good client driven discovery.

Maybe client driven discovery is a bad idea at its core.

I don't know.

Many times, I discovered interesting old notes with Blowater's search feature and then I go to Coracle or Damus to interact with the actual note tree.

But you are right, focus is valuable and priceless.

Blowater has this testing kind-1 browsing & search feature which is interesting to use but it's not the focus of this product. I decide to remove it.

Profile & note discovery is still an important feature but I indent to implement it in another way. The focus for this month is still the Encrypted Group Chat! We will revisit the kind-1 and broader feed building feature in the future.

We will wing! Day and night!

Nsecbunker can unlock so many business oriented use cases that stupid people can’t argue decentralization isn’t good for business anymore.

Let’s go eat seafood in Fukushima 🍣

GM Nostr! Breakfast time!

Even if the platform is private, people still post their daily lifes

It’s amusing and I am not even sure he’s serious

Think Different, Speak Your Mind.

One day, I will only hold back my words because of love instead fear.

My existence will be the very definition of Pura Vida and freedom.

I want to open a restaurant that people can order on Nostr before they arrive. Orders are e2e encrypted. What you eat in Vegas stays in Vegas. The menu is just a collection of events. Easy to update and you can comment and rate on a per dish based instead of the whole restaurant and my restaurant is just a npub and you can of course rate as well. Employees can access the orders through nsecbunker nostrconnect.

PSA for people buying computer parts

So, I've never had a low judgement of @ASUS products before, but holy sh*t have I had a nightmare with their motherboards that have completely changed my opinion:

• Bought rather expensive ASUS motherboard

• Got good RAM, all correct specs

• DRAM error light, no boot

• Bought new RAM, straight off "approved" list. Same problem

• Talked to customer support, can't find anyone who has any genuine knowledge, even "high end support" was just reading a script off their machine

• ChatGPT was far more helpful for trying to troubleshoot (though not great)

• Another set of RAM for final test, confirmed mobo channel failure

• Paid $70 to send mobo to @ASUSUSA

• They "replaced" it and sent back a "new" mobo (per the insert note)

• "new" mobo has loose covers and a faceplate that wasn't even connected on one side (like a plastic clip had broken inside that was holding it on)

--/ whatever, if it works I don't care, I'll glue it /--

• Put in 2 RAM sticks, it boots!

• Put in other 2, it fails again, infinite boot cycle

• Maybe bad RAM stick? 🤞

• Swap out the "confirmed good" RAM and test the "maybe bad" RAM in original slots... it boots...

• I have ANOTHER bad motherboard!

So what happened, did they run some insufficient tests, sort of damage my original motherboard and just send it right back to me? Or could they have literally replaced a broken motherboard with *another* broken motherboard? I'm even leaving out some intermediate steps here where I feared I'd maybe damaged my CPU somehow, was troubleshooting my liquid cooling, etc.

All in all I've been doing this dance for over 2 months. And every time I narrow it down to ASUS, at the foundation of my whole setup, which requires me to dismantle literally everything I've done like 4 times now to test and/or replace. I've purchased 4 sticks of RAM that I don't need, and I've spent a chunk shipping off and waiting for repairs with ASUS, and now I'm about to just go to Best Buy and buy some random motherboard off the shelf. I'm legitimately afraid to put anything ASUS into this machine now.

All of this has completely halted multiple projects I was trying to do for @Ai_Unchained

Seriously, I hate complaining on social about this stuff, I never wanted to write a lengthy b*tchy note about ASUS, & I wanted to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, which I did over and over again. But sometimes a company just doesn't seem to care until you embarrass them publicly, so this is my last resort to *at least* try and get my money back, because I honestly can't bring myself to put another of their boards into my computer.

For anyone considering @ASUS for a new machine...

...maybe reconsider.

That’s unfortunate.
