I was putting off doing solar because I didn’t understand it but once I drilled down for a couple hours, after about one full day of labor and calling people on facebook marketplace and haggling in spanish, 4 hours of careful transportation they were up and running. Didn’t work at first but a little trouble shooting and remaking the cables made it all click.

My Nostr experience is so much better these days than 6 months ago

1) invest in putting out quality content on a consistent basis

2) check the trending page and interact

3) be generous with zaps. Always

4) follow accounts you’ve never heard of

5) try to reply to comments promptly and with quality replies

With these 5 things, which are hardly rocket science, I’ve felt the quality of my experience improve

The people it has attracted

The accounts I’ve found

The information I see

The wisdom I gain

And the best bit about it? It can never be taken from me, as a censorship resistant protocol, with the user at the centre

I'm still running Bitcoin Core 28.

I think Ordinals and everything related to them that came afterwards are all spam and that spam should be treated as such.

I also don't feel comfortable running Bitcoin Knots, only because I feel that it's not battle tested enough for me to switch over.

That said, if I was new to the space and new to running a node, I'd run a Bitcoin Knots node because it aligns with those beliefs.

And then I'd probably have similar apprehensions about switching to Bitcoin Core due to 30s wild changes, turning Bitcoin into a really bad file server.

Run whatever you're comfortable running.

The main point is that you're running a node.
