I was just walking on my usual trail when I heard some rustling branches a couple feet away. I kept walking casually, thinking it’s probably a deer.
Then I heard a loud grunt.
I know all the “black fight back” and what not but I was PETRIFIED. I got super hot and dizzy.
After the initial shock I slowly looked back to nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u who was about 20ft behind me and motioning to me not to run.
We began a brisk walk back to the car, the rustling moving parallel to us before abruptly stopping.
Hearts pounding, we made it home.
Moral of the story: be careful even on familiar trails, and be aware that sometimes you don’t respond how you think you might in a dangerous situation.

hmm, it’s a strike address but i had recently turned strike account to private. would that make a difference?
when damus launched i used test flight and was a fairly early user (and it’s my only nostr client) and then my use waned to the point of deleting test flight and damus (ouch). went back to twitter (big ouch). fast forward a month or so and can’t stand twitter. reinstalled damus and using it more and more, and it (for my use) is just simply better than twitter. just my 2 sats.

i have no idea. gave me some bs answer that it validates return address. and when has fedex ever returned a shipment! i was completely caught off guard and was in a rush to get my shipment on its way. strange indeed.
went to FedEx yesterday to ship a package. They required i show them my driver’s license and they scanned it. WTF!
