Thursday Thoughts… 🦅
Feeling free is something we can embody every day.
The labels and limitations we put on ourselves are what creates the cage that holds us back from happiness. Bar by bar, we craft our narrative. We limit our potential. We weaponize it.
After time, we forget that we were the architects, and we blame everyone and everything else for putting us in here.
When we recognize the truth, that not only did we build the cage, but that we always had the key to open it, we can set ourselves free.

SNL skit in the making.
I love the light spring exhales as the days begin to stretch and awaken from their winter rest. Every turn of the sun resets and expands the one before. With each breath, the promise of new possibilities bloom on extended limbs reaching toward an undecided future.
What is nurtured is entirely up to us 🌱

I’m a avocado maximalist- I’m not into processed or weird avo mush stuff.
9 years ago I experienced my first earthquake, first morning waking up in my new home in LA, and I didn’t know what was happening.
My mind rotated through a carousel of potential explanations: Did something fall on the house? Helicopter crash? Dam break? Aneurism?
I didn’t have internet or TV service yet but I instinctively picked up my phone, opened Twitter, and somehow managed to type #earthquake in the search.
From that day forward I always used the app to validate if what I felt was an earthquake and not one of the aforementioned possibilities.
Do you identify more as Aries or Pisces?
