Often I've had the A-tier shirts for years and I have no idea where they came from or if I can get more.
Does anyone else, right after doing laundry, wear all their favorite shirts first? I get to day 4 or 5 and it's just B-tier shirts left.
Fascist is a term that's been so overused the public has forgotten what it actually means
We do need to have a vision of the ideal, though, so we can work towards a goal. I haven't listened to New Polity much, but what they do is great for setting a bar, so to speak
Like Martin Luther nailing his theses, but it's the door to the master bedroom
Besides, I'd think an accurate list would have more like 5 points rather than 15 😄
In my admittedly limited experience, it seems trad Catholic men are more likely to have such a list. Then they feel terrible about it because scrupulosity.
Oof I'm really sorry to hear that
Granted what can seem cynical is often just realistic. Yet, what could we do without hope in the possibility of something better?
Where do you turn to combat the cynicism you get when looking at Clown World?
I feel this for sure.
I'm convinced that the world *is* enchanted, though, and part of the good life is learning to see it.
Perhaps faith/belief, rather than solely suppressing barbarism, also opens up avenues to greater good than would be possible for people without belief. Replace cynicism with hope and it really changes how the world looks.
Who feels like the world is enchanted, that reality runs higher and deeper than we can easily perceive?
Who once felt this way but has become disenchanted with the world over time?

Didn't the French try to change the year to 10 months during the French Revolution?
Regardless, 12 is a better number of months. You can easily divide it into halves, thirds, and quarters for nice groupings of months. 13 you can't divide by anything.
Shout-out to my wife who made me a cappuccino this morning.
Went for a jog, making sourdough pancakes, Mass later. Happy Sunday y'all!
My wife and I had that sung at our wedding Mass, and by golly I did shed a tear or two
