As much as I want #Nostr succeed (and really it deserves this 💯) I think one difference compared to #Bitcoin is that when #bitcoin was launched in 2009 it was really the first and network effect was there. With #Nostr #Twitter has the network effect. I see this also in users like #Adam Back and #Saylor barely posting here. Not because #Twitter is better, no because it has the #networkeffect. Just my 21sats on this.

I took a break from nostr but I'm back.

I finally have a date to be going home to the US. I'll be reunited with my studio again! When I get home, I can start weaving cotton towels to sell on nostr marketplace.

I want to be an active participant in the Bitcoin economy. I've been waiting and I think the right time is just around the corner. So exciting!

I feel like the duology is an under-used media format.

Most work is either a one-off, or gets stretched into a full trilogy, or turns into a full franchise.

It's rarely the case where a creator is like, "You know what; I think two books/movies are the right number to tell this story."

Nice. That would probably be a more individualistic view, especially when we get bitcoiners jurisdictions.

I was thinking about Free Masons because it seems similar. A guild which shares secrets and passes them for generations. At some point, if the secrets do not disseminate to larger society then we become a cult like them.

Would be best to avoid.

If you're in ahead of Blackrock, and the rest of the big players, it's still very early. So early in fact, the sun is just rising type of early.

Unless you live on the west coast then you'll be bit later. 😏

I think the "I'm too late" comment is a fiat mindset. The get rich quick mentality instead of securing the results of your time and energy.

Any time I watch lex Fridman I want to get in the tv and check him for a pulse. Absolutely zero animation 😂😂😂

In 100 years we will all have been The Early Bitcoiners.

We started sharing "arcane and obscure" knowledge about Austrian Economics and Ethical Money Production, etc.

We expanded into other domains of knowledge which normies treat with the same disregard as they treat Bitcoin: Health, Sun, Food, Energy, Space. We share, but it's not getting highly shared in wide circles.

That's what I thought this morning: We are more likely to become "The Masons", instead of becoming "The Jew".

Not sure if I like all that, but it kinda looks that way to me.
