Interesting way of looking at it. I'm mining for heat as a hobby, with an S17 and an S9... they're efficient heaters and there's the novelty of few sats reward each day. But yeah, it's like gaping wide arbitrage between what I can buy with failing fiat (the anomaly) and the real cost of grinding out sats through mining (the enduring reality). It's like there's a tear in the space-time fabric and we get to play in it for a few years.

I believe he has recently become popular. The issue is that he understands so much of the problem and he is right about a lot of things, but he shuts himself off when it comes to Bitcoin.

He has some allergic reaction to it and at this point I think he has been told many times to look at it seriously and he just won't. It's clear that he thinks he knows all that he needs to. He even made a hit piece about it where not a single thing was correct.

It feels stupid to us: this guy cries about the issue and wants to fight against it through politics and financial literacy: socialism and running faster up an avalanche.

We just see the opt out button, so it feels so obvious to us that this is the way, but he is so stuck on his treadmill that he won't entertain the idea that he could try to learn why smart people are pro Bitcoin despite his personal beliefs.

Gotta be ego.

I use AI extensively.

I just made a presentation about AI and gave it to 100 coworkers including my bosses...

I got a personal message from the head of the school that night telling me great job.

Was approached by almost 10 separate people giving me glowing reviews.

I used zero AI to do that presentation.

Why? Because I really cared about it and wanted it perfect.

I write a blog.

I put hours into each post.

Do I use AI?

No.

Why?

Because I want it to be perfect.

I am BETTER than AI. At some things.

Like being me.

AI hasn't mastered being me yet.

Use AI.

I do.

But sometimes...

Don't.

It pays off.

That's how it feels to be the government?

I am consistently blown away by how many people still haven’t fully recognized that a system of credit and manipulation of money MUST centralize because it is opposition to the free market.

And even when they do realize, they continue to give their all energy to that system - thinking there is a way out, while making it stronger.

FYI - posted this because good friends (who I thought understood) just sent me a list of investments that would benefit from free AI - without having #bitcoin as the protocol repricing it all.
