tapping into the future
Here’s how I’d run a 50,000,000 sat nostr marketing campaign…
Coming from someone doing +$10M monthly client revenue on TikTok.
Let’s break it down.
For example sake, let’s say we’re running a campaign for nostr:npub14am887cf6kvwkce89nt7dsw3v9qrrn0uppxyvr6a2jd7xdwuwccqwnudp2 ‘s brand, Heart & Soil (with a 0.5 btc budget)
Step 1:
First we’re going to identify 100 relevant nostr creators and negotiate terms of posting.
Let’s say 100 creators at 300,000 sats per note each.
We’ll spread out the posting times over the course of a month… about 3 per day.
Nothing groundbreaking so far… but here’s where things become a bit different than your typical social media campaign…
Instead of paying creators offline, Heart & Soil would zap 300,000 to each creator - publicly visible on their note.
This does 2 things:
1️⃣ Increase visibility on that note (more zaps = more traction)
2️⃣ Increase positive sentiment of the brand (i.e. “this brand supports nostr creators”)
If you see a note about a brand, then that brand zapping 300,000 sats, this will get your attention.
Step 2:
Top of funnel 👀
We’re going to allocate 10,000,000 sats to “bulk zapping”
The plan is to send 21 sats to nearly 500,000 notes over the course of a month.
I’d probably attach a message like “Eat your organs” or something like that to each.
The goal here is to drive eyeballs and awareness to the account.
Step 3:
Profile and bio set up.
Think of this like a funnel.
We’re going to be getting tons of eyeballs to the account…
Now, what we do with that attention is key.
First thing, let’s repost all of the creator notes to get social proof on the account.
Secondly, let’s get our bio set up.
It should say something like this:
“The most nutrient rich supplements on the planet. Goal of sending 10,000,000 sats (currently at 1,342,091). Tag us and we’ll zap you! Use code NOSTR for 10% off.”
The goal is to turn buyers into creators and set the precedent that Heart & Soil zaps all creators.
I’ve noticed that there is a ritualistic posting style on Nostr - the good morning notes, coffeechain etc.
We want to get this style of note going for Heart and Soil.
Allocate 10,000,000 sats to just zapping customers that post the product on nostr.
What do we think - would this work? Would brand campaigns be a complete flop on nostr? What would you do differently?

hey guys i work at a b2b saas company as head of growth. we build workflow automation software for smes and recently hav been facing plateau and churn. while we hav like basic analytics that give us clues im really trying to understand WHY customers are churning. our surveys have been shit like honestly i dont think anyone fills it out anyways or answers are just short and vague im considering offering customers like 0-100 as an incentive to giv detailed feedback after they cancel. the idea is that since each customer is worth like ,000 annually on average, even a few high-quality insights could be incredibly valuable at scale to prevent others from churning what do you guys think? ive done a prelim test and it seems promising that wed actually get good feedback by offering straight up money but then again its not that surprising if were giving you like 100 bucks for some good quick feedback. id do way more for 100 bucks lol but maybe im wrong about others

Depending on product cost and retention efforts I would steer clear of incentivizing canceled customers. Instead try collecting data from and incentivizing customers who were just saved from churning or are on their last month of their contract.
You could also make it part of the cancellation process to try and collect data or incentive a % kick back for leaving product / service feedback before they cancel.

AI agents needs to be in an environment where the user knows it can be helped or supported. Outside of collecting or confirming data it cannot pivot other variables causing for a poor customer experience. Too many companies are forcing the play for cost reduction but in the end will only cause more retention and churn for their business.

What I like best about NOSTR is the educational resources and being surrounded by developing innovation.
Every time I log on I learn more. I’m not being solicited to and my feed is not subjective or pre programmed for someone else’s gains. I can be me and experience what I want out of the engagements. Nothing seems force fed like those other proprietary social farms.
