Interesting thoughts. I've read Europeans had pretty dark skin 6k plus years ago. And that light skin was likely an adaptation to farming where the diet had much less vitamin D. ( meat has a good bit). For example, some Asians have pretty white skin and seemed to lighten up from farming similarly.

Most beef is produced by family farms locally where the cow primarily eats grass it's whole life. Cow feed consist mostly of stuff humans cannot eat. Like corn husk or the shells of soybeans.
