It's not a typical group chat as information is not siloed. More like a nostr RPF.
It's for people who haven't figured everything out and would like to discuss and learn.
The only issue with refined cane sugar is the lack of minerals that go with it, as long as you provide them it's great
I barely consume refined sugar but for moments of acute stress it's very beneficial (a lot of it)
Of course the body has a hormone called cokesol that naturally turns muscle into cocaine
I do but try to avoid as they work 13% of the time
Maybe the specs are fine but we're all terrible programmers
My first contribution to @pleb_devs was merged π
I added Zap Threads, from nostr:nprofile1qqs8y6s7ycwvv36xwn5zsh3e2xemkyumaxnh85dv7jwus6xmscdpcygprpmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0ekucf3. Now, any course, video or document will have threaded web commenting, built on NOSTR!
Paid content will require payment before anyone can comment.
Check it out:

For any devs out there, you should look to help nostr:npub1s9etjgzjglwlaxdhsveq0qksxyh6xpdpn8ajh69ruetrug957r3qpklxzl and I make the best NOSTR client π€ website possible.
Weβre making plebdevs generic and customizable, so you can have your own instance!
I no longer maintain Zapthreads, but as my first nostr project it's awesome to keep seeing it used around the web!
This is a pretty well-researched account of what happened, both the good and the bad. Sadly you won't find many even lightly-researched takes of this here on nostr.

I started reading and stopped at Bluesky PBC. What is your take? It seems like an insanely long explanation for something so simple.
There is value in here though, that's why I come back but I'm strongly wishing for higher signal, lower noise, healthier interfaces.
Less screen, more information density, more consideration of the context (i.e. what is my mood, what am I looking for, how much time I got,...) and new ways of discovering content.
LLMs and VUIs will somehow help us improve the situation.
Infinite anything is bad, even without an "algorithm".
Nostr has not fixed this, on the contrary kind 1 feeds are the most developed form of nostr.
Having virtually infinite content of a thousand different topics pulls your attention in so many directions... no way this is healthy.
Happy Easter frens!
Ross, once you understand nostr better you will find that "the protocol" is not even well defined. It's a loose collection of NIPs (on which we mostly agree, especially NIP-01).
There is at least one NIP addressing your concern, see https://nostr-nips.com/nip-11#pay-to-relay
A business model for nodes already emerged spontaneously anyway, one of those is products subsidizing free relays.
We should let free markets will do their thing.

I look forward to a wave of privacy-first voice-user interface apps.
Tech that helps us detox from so much screen time.
I want an audio only nostr client, that can give me a summary of my feed or community chat. Then it records a post, maybe even help me during the drafting process.
I want another app that produces a weekly summary of my feed, and interesting articles, ready to print out, for a paper read at the park.

Fried stuff in gobs of canola oil definitely is the most popular diet pattern
Good read.
"Each day, downgrading is made more and more difficult by tech companies and governments, and even by ourselves"
Hoping nostr and bitcoin will make downgrading easier.
