I'm surprised it took Bisq this long to integrate Lightning support, but I understand that engineering is challenging.
Now that Bisq 2.1 supports Lightning, it's clear that the peer-to-peer trading software is perfectly suited for lightning-fast transactions. What will be really fascinating is when we start seeing atomic swaps on Lightning, at which point the user experience will be even better.

there’s currently three implementations that support the official spec and are interoperable: core-lightning, LDK, and eclair/phoenix

- onchain is the final settlement, only for long term holding
- LN is The Payment Network of Bitcoin that could offer waaaay more options for privacy. If you still didn't find them, it means you don't know too much about LN.
