What is it with connectors, and names of ports? USB, HDMI, storage… the naming schemes and compatibility is cursed.
Is it SAS or SATA? Which SATA? What size? Which speed? Does it have an SSD cache? SATA or NVMe? How fast? How *long*?

That would honestly make more sense. In laptops m.2 makes a lot more sense than in my ATX tower, or in my laptop bag.
