“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
— Will Durant
I want a high powered version of the laser mosquito zapper.
A couple of felonies and a Nvidia Jetson may be involved.
Hmmm. Great minds think alike. I just need more free time.
“Christian” edgelords are a special kind of perversion. I’ve never understood how someone could read the New Testament and come away feeling justified in hating or feeling superior to *anyone.*
A real radical Christian would know that whatever group you find the most personally off-putting, whether it be someone with leprosy or a pedophile, is the exact person Jesus would expect you to minister to and serve in love.
John 4:4-42
Luke 19:1-9
Luke 6:31-38
Luke 15:1-32
The fact that religion has become a bad word tells me a lot about the lives of the religious.
I take this personally and wonder how I’ve contributed. We need to get back to love and service and quit bickering over the details.
2 Timothy 2:23
I’ve always had issues with Debian because I always forgot to get the non-free installer, or my hardware required a newer kernel, so aside from server VM’s I don’t have much experience with it unfortunately. I’ve tended to lean redhat/fedora for a long time, or SuSE.
NixOS is my first real adventure in a while.
Yeah back in the day it could be fragile. I can’t remember how many times I borked SuSE 7 Professional. I think that was KDE 2
I used that on mint for a while. It was nice, and wasn’t a resource hog.
Part of the charm. Could really tweak the hell out of it. But I’m old now and tweaking is what I do when I try to get out of bed in the morning. I need shit to work, and this does look super clean and is performing very well.
GNOME is gonna make a believer outta me at the rate it’s going.
I was a die hard KDE or i3 guy, depending on workstation purpose and mood, but after a rage induced break from Linux, both Fedora and Nix are looking pretty 🔥 and GNOME is slick as shit on Wayland.
