I would suggest a cat, but I’m biased. Have you considered a ferret? I’m seriously debating it. A lot more intelligence to work with there.
Same. But work starts back tomorrow. 🤣 They moved me from being the lead software engineer, to being a draftsman and manager this week. Those careers don’t even really touch. My head is still swimming.
It’s been a bit up and down this week, but today is absolutely glorious! I’ve sat outside this morning, fixing to have BLTs for lunch, then maybe some code this afternoon.
What does Sunday look like for my favorite Vixen?
That is a Mongolian Gerbil. Was very docile for a gerbil. Rather more curious and social than I am used to.
Good day Doctor Frog. How is your weekend-that-is-actually-the-beginning-of-the-week going?
Gerbils aren’t as docile as hamsters or guinea pigs. You saved the worst for last. I kinda wanna get one of these cuties.
Tbh auto was one of the less painful introductions if you had clangd running. Let’s talk about how there is still almost no painless way to inspect a dynamic array.
And to think I used to consider you a reasonable guy. 🤨

In a list of items, a comma after the “and” is referred to as an Oxford comma.

The long time web devs I talk to usually say that right before breaking down into tears.
It’s ok. I come from C++. I’m used to pain.
Don’t mind me. I’m just frog hunting.
I usually order a new certified copy any time I do something like this. Had them not come back too many times.
It’s both chronic, and terminal. Sorry for your eventual loss.
A few realizations from the last few weeks I’ve been quiet:
- #golang is pretty awesome
- I’m going to have to learn jabbascript
- Nothing really changes. The world just goes through cycles, and those cycles are getting shorter, just like anything else getting ready to get sucked down the drain.
