I would buy three or four keys then.

You take them off your keychain continually to log in. It’s begging to be lost. I bought a AirTag keychain, and put my Yubi on it. That way the weight doesn’t damage my ports, and if I drop it at work I can find it in a very few minutes.

Take a tip from a pro. Put an AirTag on those little fuckers. Lost my first one within a week. 🤣

Nice guys finish last

Bad boys finish alone

I don’t fucking envy the younger generations. Y’all are screwed.

I agree with everything said here. And I do think the lifespan of a note’s storage is an important discussion - and one I view paid relays very differently than free ones.

To date though, I have not found it necessary to delete any notes, aside from those of one user to specifically requested it. Storage is cheap, and my patrons are few (in comparison).

As a relay operator, I have yet to hear an argument that even made me waver in my decision to support event deletions.

My goal continues to be a ToS and policies that impose as little as possible on my patrons, while continuing to keep me legally safe.

And societies make social mores.

The Mayans thought they were absolutely correct to sacrifice human beings on altars to delay the end of the world.

No less certain than we are of what might be considered the obvious basic truth of right and wrong.

At the end of the day, it’s all just made up shit that someone got a lot of people to agree on over time. And knowing that really changes one’s perspective on both history and current times.

Might need therapy.

Not one of the animals, but I have often wished I could escape and live in the jungle. Not trying to understate the difficulties those who live there face - it’s pure escapism. The grass is always greener, first-world problems, yada yada. 🤣

Does that make any sense?

Yay. I love trying to figure out why my tailwindcss stuff looks completely different when running on vercel than it does on my local machine.

Especially when I’m still trying to learn tailwind, and have no fucking clue.

🤦‍♂️

I’d hate for money to be a central part of my identity as well.

Ought to be possible to support a good thing without becoming a “thing” guy shouldn’t it?

Cat who owns two phones because he can see the value in both ways of doing things. 😉

Apple fanboi’s suck.

Anti-Apple assholes are worse.

Loving or hating a product until it becomes part of your identity should be a cry for help.

I just snorted Mtn Dew when I saw this. 🤣

Not in a while, but it’s solid af.

I have never clicked “Update Later” on any operating system, ever.

Run that shit. I’m here for the reboot.
