In the future, people will write emails using AI and others will read these emails using AI.

Sender: "Write this as a formal email: ..."

Recipient: "Summarize the content of this email: ..."

Humans will realize that all that "dear madam or sir I hope this email finds you well" is just formal boilerplate and that communication is less about form but more about its content. It's like zipping a file and unzipping it again (except it actually blows up the size in this case). Our digital expression will reduce back to its original form of pure content and explicit intent.

I'm 99% certain this will happen. Nobody truly likes this formal bullshit. Machines are going to be like APIs between humans.

I used to run a relay on a home server tunneled through cloudflare (didn't want to pay for a public IP). I want to do that again, but with the right tools this time.

I would recommend checking out Tailscale Funnel. It sounds like what you need, and they have a higher reputation for privacy, etc. Your IP will not be revealed.

I've used their tunneling services and they were good atleast compared to alternatives, do you know alternatives that help with self hosting?

They are not privacy friendly, have been caught engaging in some shady business practices multiple times, and my members have requested it.

It’s been planned for a while, but I needed an alternative that I liked first, and some time to watch things and make sure nothing breaks. 😳

TheSameCat’s relay will be coming off of Cloudflare sometime in the next 24 hours, depending on where you live.

Going forward none of my publicly facing projects will be hosted on Cloudflare.

I've been interested in them for awhile. Never got to the point of buying one. Might be an excelent note-taking device.

I couldn’t justify it at this price when I have an iPad and Apple Pencil already. I just open OneNote and take notes.

That being said, if someone desired a device that could be used without connecting to a network, or didn’t have or want an iPad, then it *might* be worth it.

It’d be more worth it if it cost about as much as just the stylus does. Then it’d be an obvious buy tbh. At this price… I’d rather use paper notebooks.

Imgui is the only one I’ve heard people I actually knew using. I’ve also checked out AreWeGuiYet? ( https://areweguiyet.com/ ) to see if Rust was viable for my job, and if you haven’t already, it might be a good resource.

In C++, the choice is Qt if your project is of any size and cross platform. There is no other choice that comes close. That being said, I hate it with a passion as powerful as 10,000 suns. And I still use it.

😂 I don't think they're poor quality at all, just very topic oriented. I understand It's hard to populate a feed when everyone well known has the same main thing they're known for.

It’s a chicken and egg problem and always will be. How do we get non-btc content on Nostr? We need non-btc people to join and post. What will make non-btc people join Nostr and stay? Non-btc content. 😂

I agree. Recommendations are the one thing I ignore anywhere I go on Nostr, so I haven’t noticed the quality of them much. I’d love to know if I’m blackisted. 😂
