Since I know you’ve been using them and happy, I might try them more often then.
I use SuperMaven for code, and Gemini Advanced for my docs. Haven’t tried Claude yet, but I’ve heard really good things.
Gemini is surprisingly good at anything to do with documents and writing. I love asking it about docs in my drive. Very good at making docs queryable.
Once I learned what they were really good at, and what they sucked at, I do too.
I think my favorite part is how she doesn’t botch stuff when I stutter. Like setting a reminder earlier. I stuttered twice and she nicely ignored me and edited it out. Very very big improvement.
Email summaries are nice too. Haven’t used the writing stuff a lot yet.
Yep. I just made a small purchase for that exact reason. I have learned how to do it myself, but atm my time is at a high premium and I honestly have things planned for the stuff I already run (relay, etc) that aren’t getting done.
Being able to refill my zapper in two taps was a win.
Primal selling sats directly in the app was a win. Idc how anyone feels about KYC, etc… it was a win.
There are a few things that still need ironing out, but I can see how this makes Nostr newbie friendly.
I moved to beta 18.1. The Siri shit is actually useful/cool.
Smack dab in the middle friend.

My boss just handed me a Remarkable 2 as a gift. Been playing with it for about an hour, and I can already assess that it is a “good” device that does its purpose rather proficiently.
I would never pay the MSRP on this thing though. It ain’t THAT good.
Just imagine what the markup must be - how much they’re making per unit - for that to be affordable.
Average retail markup in the US is 400%. Might be higher here depending on product and origin of manufacture.
I do. My passwords leaking would be much more damaging, so if I trust it for those… 😂
Seriously though, the good password managers have some pretty good encryption these days.
nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka Any advice on this? I’m also curious to hear your perspective.
I certainly don’t have any experience doing UI in Rust. Which kit will you use? I believe the clients I’ve seen in rust are using imgui which is immediate mode?
That’s also a newish paradigm for me (personally). I came up on WPF and Qt. I’ll be following your progress if you keep us up to date on how it’s going.
NextJS. I’m tripping out on things like state, render loop stuff, hooks, etc….
I follow the guy who built autoplay for Netflix. He still apologizes every time it gets brought up.
😱
Do web devs who move to desktop feel as lost as I do moving to web?!
This does not fit in my MVC mind.
Omg. The meme about having to explain to your boss why adding that toggle switch is going to cost a month and a few thousand dollars is true.
Me and my wife are simple people. The old gender roles please both of us, and we’re both the type of people who like to have a ruler to measure how we’re doing.
I’m one of the few online though, who will 100% die saying it isn’t for everyone, should not be portrayed as such, and might not even be for me and my wife forever. People are different and change over time.
It was just easy and natural (for US) so we talked and agreed this was how we’d do the first few years. 🤷♂️
That’s awesome. I found a size of foam that I like so far. Feels like putting ear plugs in, but forms to my ear. So far I think it makes a decent seal, but I’m not sure how long they will last.
The fact that it’s random is all the more beautiful. Accidental beauty may be my favorite type.
Damn. 😂
Next few months are going to be a steaming pile. 💩
Good for the memes though.
