they say follow a lot of people, but i like finding those few that like to engage in a good conversation. i am a foodie, so i look at all the food hashtags and talk to those people. it is your own experience. make it however you like, and use more than one client or app. test it all, feel it out. and always ask a question when you feel stuck #asknostr

The word "god" is a title. It is a role to be filled, and a non-negotiable role at that. There is a god in every system, whether that system is a sports team, a company, a nation, or a universe.

The only real question is who or what will occupy that role.

Whose will is sought? Who is above critique? To whom are costly sacrifices rendered? To whom do knees bow, and whose name do tongues praise? Who has their heart? Where do they run when they are afraid? Who do they love and trust? What is the source of their joy?

Answer those questions, and you will find the god of a system, whether they’re worthy of it or not.

Brazil has 200,000,000 people, it's a country where ppl are heavily on facebook (preciously on Orkut and ICQ), Brazilian society functions via WhatsApp. Even lawyers do stuff with you via WA.

Assuming this is real numbers, not removing bots and such, it's a tiny number for Brazil.

There is no point in looking at blue sky as somehow some example of someone doing something write.

I have never met a real life person who's active on that platform, I don't know anyone in Brazil who even heard about blue sky.

They are being smart about doing a fuck ton of PR about it to get North American users by having folks talk about them on Nostr 😂

Focus on Nostr, blue sky is irrelevant to the main platforms AND to our big picture.

I totally get the importance of the mute list but IMHO everyone should follow at least a couple people who present intelligent arguments that you disagree with.
