In my fiat job I manage a scarce resource to the public. You realize how few people understand scarcity, they've all been trained by fiat that resources in any moment are infinite. It's no wonder they don't understand bitcoin. It is a great litmus test to find people who might be receptive.
Majority of society will always prefer to live on their knees, its more comfortable then standing, it's incumbent for the few who do stand to defend those that don't.
Government in large part justifies its existence as a protector. (Protect from terrorist, child molesters and the environment) But all it does is shield the truth from your eyes, helps you be ignorant, it doesn't actually remove any danger.
What removes danger is the people of the society creating prosperity and mutual respect, but that safety comes from private individuals engaging in a market, not public overlords.
If you have noticed our sociétés degrading its because the central planner degrades that prosperity and inherently makes danger increase.
