"For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it." Patrick Henry "More law, less justice". Cicero

Yeah you kinda have to slide into it 🤣. More subtle, they seem to all agree that shitcoins, stocks, etc are all extractive. Most are ok with that, but a few aren't and then you can go into bitcoin as an honest way of building wealth.

I remember reading that book in high school 👏🏻

Gm nostr,

I learned something yesterday while trying to orange pill a couple college students.

There are a lot of people who are ok with theft if it's in their favor.

This seems to be the reason so many people stop at shitcoins, they don't think they will be the loser, and as long as they win they don't care who suffers.

It's only when someone isn't ok with theft in either direction do they look further to Bitcoin.

I could be wrong about this but it's come up quite a few times now.

Gm nostr,

Abstractions can be useful, but abstract too far and things get distorted.

If you find your health being distorted, remove abstractions and return to the original as nature produces it.

If you find your social constructions being distorted, remove abstractions and return to symbiosis with physics and natural law.

All rulers are elite, the only fix is to have no rulers.

Gm nostr,

I like the framing that bitcoin is a superior technology of money. As an example of when the technology of transportation advanced from horses to cars, very specific people won tremendously (auto, oil, construction companies) and some lost hard (horse breeders, saddle makers).

But overall even if most people and investors "missed" the direct economic gains of the industry changing, they all benefited from the use of cars.

Bitcoin is like that. Some will win hard, some will lose hard, but all will benefit from the evolution of money.

That is beautiful, I also like the waterfall.

Not particularly, but I do get the day off from the fiat mines 🔥
