What kind of fish is that?

In light of Matthew 6:19-21 when I hear "stack says" I also hear "put your heart on the block-chain"

This is simultaneously good and bad advise.

Good, because it is correct in the absolute sense.

Bad, because it lacks humility.

What if observation and experiment fail us?

What if our own conclusions are wrong?

Authorities are authorities only because we trust them. That trust is a powerful tool to gain access to a body of wisdom beyond what we can discern for ourselves. Use Feynmen's advice not to reject authority, for then we merely substitute ourselves, but rather to discern who to trust.

It's not too late! Go dominate an obscure sport, like rock skipping or pit spitting.

Just that there seems to be a pro-circuit of nostr events. Every other week all the usual suspects are posting from some new corner of the globe. I'm just trying to figure out who the pro cup points leader is.

Ok, so how exactly does the #nostr pro tour work? How many many stops like #nostriga are there and how many points are up for grabs at each?

I see post proclaiming "this is how we win" but otherwise have trouble following sport. Which #nostrich are you all boosting?

Running on fumes sounds more impressive than walking on water.

I'll let him know. He's going to be 6'6" so more likely the next Andy Roddick.

Don't know about those, but I've a 9 year old who wants to be the next Djokovic. You could teach him, because I know Jack about tennis.

But I'd pick 9 because at least I could talk tech.

Where is this flight going? Hell?

I didn't know there were big follow lists! I think I've over a hundred now so I must be listed.

Yes, I think it needs to underlie the data channels we make. If data can only flow between people who know each other then it is very hard for bad data to get in. The cost of rebuilding trust is too high.
