I rebel - therefore we exist

On my new treadmill. Only set at the slowest speed, but still it’s a start.

Any other Australian's on Nostr, or am I the only one?

Increase of Australia’s housing shortage in just that last 9 months. How is this happening in a country with so much land the spare?

What do Libertarians think about boarders: total open boarders for free movement of people, or some level of control necessary for security?

GM Nostriches, hope you all had a good Monday in the Northern Hemisphere.

So true. Been on anti depressants and anti anxiety medication for two years. It’s nice that I’m not considering unaliving myself anymore, but I feel like I’m a different person.

Good evening from Australia

I asked Grok to compare the process of opening a new bank in Australia against the process of opening a new bank in other countries and it’s conclusion was “Australia’s APRA is among the strictest regulators globally”. So I’m starting to see your point.

Can the state do no action to benefit free markets? We have an oligopoly in our banking sector, and a few years ago they were all charging the same rip off fees to customers. We had a royal commission and the bags were charged a fine and new laws now prevent them from charging excessive fees. How is this bad for competition?
