Pretty accurate though.

This concern about Climate Change is reflected in the increased vote for the Greens I think. This has also been tempered by the acute economic issues we are facing, no one votes for a socialist government when the economy is bad. The way I see it if we really want to do something about Climate Change we need to stop buying cheap manufactured goods from China and India - where most emissions come from, and focus on producing quality goods and services locally. Pay for them with Bitcoin.

And we won! A damn close run thing though. Feel sorry for Ireland.

Seems to bI was a bit miffed when trying to play music using the Plex Android app and discovered that without a Plex Pass you can only listen to one minute of audio, (they do the same with video but it's not limited on the browser or Android TV so I'm OK with that).

Then I discovered Plexamp https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.plex.labs.plexamp

And I have been very impressed so far. You don't need a Plex Pass subscription and it gives you access to all your home network-stored music/audio.

Pretty funky interface too, a lot of good work seems to have gone into the UI. Has lots of good functionality too.

Well, it's election day here in #NZ. Looking forward to hating the next bunch of incompetent imbeciles just as much as I hated the last bunch of incompetent imbeciles.

One of my favourite things at this time of year is the return of the Kereru, or Native Wood Pigeon. These things are about 3 quarters the size of a chicken and quite a few come to visit every spring and feed on the blossom. Where they go for the rest of the year is a mystery, but when these guys start showing up you know Summer is just around the corner.

Loose sheep 🐑 and goats seem to be a constant problem in my area. These guys had been wandering around our neighbourhood for a couple of weeks making a nuisance of themselves. The last straw came when they broke into our garden and stripped the leaves off our fruit trees. So I called the Council animal control, this photo was taken the day after animal control had rounded them up and gave them back to their owner, they were straight back into my garden.

The (rather sheepish) owners showed up and took them away to the freezing works about an hour later, guess I won't be seeing these guys again, but after 10 years here I know it's really only a matter of time till another creature shows up and starts munching on my trees.

If you want to live in a rural area and run animals, you really should have adequate fencing,especially during lambing or if you have goats.
