Watched this last night, what a nightmare Lebanon is now.
If you had USD in a bank account before 2019, the banks won't let you withdraw any of it, that's because it's not really there, it's all been siphoned off into the pockets of politicians and gangsters (but I repeat myself).
The country is going to shit, it's whole economy was basically a Ponzi scheme run by corrupt politicians and bankers, when it all collapsed they took the money and ran to the hills. Now people are starving.
This could happen anywhere.

Today the fam and I visited Weta Workshop, a great experience. The effort that goes into making these movie props and models is quite simply flabbergasting. I had no idea they were involved in so many movies, also surprising to learn they get a lot of their business doing museum installations.

Mine caused permanent nerve damage, 3 weeks in bed and still couldn't walk more than 10 metres. Developed into a chronic pain condition, had my epididymus removed - no improvement, more pain. Eventually had my testicle removed, again no improvement in pain, just switched over to the other testicle. Pain got so bad it eventually forced me out of work, also got hooked on opiates - managed to kick them 3 years ago with the help of cannabis oil. Still have limited mobility, can't sit for more than an hour, still can't work.
So yeah, ruined my life, but please don't let that put you off...
