Life is so much better when you just stack #bitcoin, and enjoy life. I used to get stressed and frustrated with things in the world outside my control. Now I just focus on my bubble. It's much better. I feel pity for people who wake up and the first thing they do is look at the news so they can get the rush of feeling angry. Start doing what you love and just let the rest flow off your back like water.
I feel like I got mine pretty well sorted...There is an open source alternative to everything. People don't even realize it. And more often than not, imo, the open source is better than the popular closed source option.

Fiatpoor, much smaller, only 26 channels, younger, less centrality, but ranked higher. Why? Because Fiatpoor is routing payments more efficiently, predictably, and successfully. Any lightning network service can become NON CUSTODIAL all they have to do is implement Lightning Node Connect. Any custodial service has no excuse at this point.
You pay a routing fee to every node on the network that is participating in routing the payment back to your node via the channel you specified. This fee can be high, so it is important to take note and only do it if you are expecting to earn that fee back or more from forwarding through the channel that the circular payment increased the outbound of. It's simple but tough to explain.

If you are performing a self payment on your lightning node, be sure to set your ppm high enough so you can at least break even on the channel you increased the outbound of. To calculate this:
RoutingFee / amountRouted * 1000000 = ppm to set to break even assuming the channel fully drains.
