How do I gain plausible deniability with nostr? Generate a new key every so often? Publish the old private key? Can I generate an "old" message using an old private key?

Sometimes I just want to pay a bill and the fees cause me to pause for a few days.

Do you use NIP-13 proof-of-work to post messages? I am trying it here.

I do not mean to say that we give up with regard to mobile phones. There is much privacy to be recovered from running free/libre software operating systems. However, at a fundamental level your phone has proprietary baseband firmware. Such firmware runs the radio and typically has access to other hardware underneath or hidden from your phone operating system, e.g. microphone, camera. The proprietary baseband firmware is true even for the most free/libre mobile phones out there. Your mobile phone carrier is part of big tech and big brother too. Again, I don't mean all is lost, but mobile phones are simply not safe.

No mobile phone is free therefore no mobile phone is safe. Furthermore, every mobile phone talks to a tower. A tower has a location. All mobile phones are already located in order to work.

Most folks here see the benefit of a cap on inflation. I am among them. But think about two or three generations from now. Also consider the number of alt-coins that do not have a limit on inflation. Also consider the changes that already have happened.

Unfortunately, the 21m cap is anchored in social agreement.

McDonalds can't set prices, the market does. McDonalds doesn't create more dollars, the Federal Reserve does. Thank you, McDonalds, for your better-than-gas-station restrooms, and for adapting to the changing conditions that are outside your control. The same is true for other food providers.
