Yes, and any other app could have access too once you've entered it on an internet-connected device. What makes this worse than username/password logins is your followers and stuff don't all automatically transfer if you need to change your key. People will really want this fixed more and more as time goes on.
You can do end-to-end encryption by hand or with electronics, but it's very hard to run this type of software without electronic hardware. Electronic end-to-end encryption requires implementation at the hardware level, you can't write a piece of software that magically stops anything from running it maliciously or modifying it to run maliciously.

To solve climate change, you need a good enough plan and good enough inspiration to enact that plan.
People with inspiration, but no plan, kill themselves because they're overwhelmed by seeing the beauty around them and not knowing how to save it.
