If you're taking the threat of a phone bomb that seriously, I would try to use small phones you can use in one hand.

Less space for hidden bombs, and less chance of crippling both hands.

Phone manufacturer can definitely hide bombs in devices, or hide a security flaw allowing the phone to overcharge and overheat itself to start a fire.

I wish I had advice for what to do about this, but I don't. This is one of those things like drone strikes we all have to fear the authorities having the power to do to us as society keeps collapsing further into dystopia.

It's annoying how nostrudel.ninja leaves any videos posted for free out of the "videos" tab in profile view to try to upsell you on paying to post videos (as far as I can tell)
