I assume that would be simpler.... But we'd lose the fun of tinkering.

Blixt wallet I think runs a pruned node/channels on the phone; and Phoenix will open nodes on phone as well

I have not checked on my node for a while, usually something pops up and works fine.

Last time the same happened and I had to re flash the micro sd.

Any idea why it does this ?

Not a party pooper but we should make this a little bit easier for the average Joe 🤣

I sympathize. My node totally nuked it self last month. Was not able to diagnose the problem; even reinstalling the OS after reflashing did nothing. Only solution in the end was to go terminal and use a fresh external hard drive, with a complete re-sync of the blockchain. I had backup of channels and seed phrase, but I had to force close ALL my channels (after 2 years of up time) which was pretty traumatic. Good luck with your fix - perhaps try a re-sync of the chain with a fresh drive?

Launched today - been working on this for a while. UK's first Bitcoin only advocacy group. First job - responding to govt consultations from Treasury and Bank of England. Dear #[0], I'm checking out your app. It looks neat but the maximum buy slider is kind of glitchy. It hides behind the minimum slider and I can't see the maximum fiat value of the order.

I'm on Android 13, modern device, standard display size setting. Minimum slider on the left, maximum slider on the right would be a solution, what do you think? 🤙

Complete idiots. Worth reading Level 39's three on the other place. NYT spent years singing the praises of demand response, then suddenly decided it was bad when it involved Bitcoin. No integrity, absolutely none.

It's really heartening to see some of the environmentalist-focused bitcoiners, generally some of the left-leaning ones, always taking the time to counter FUD put out by the NYT, Greenpeace, etc.

The pushback is generally more powerful when it comes from the same side of the political spectrum.

Throughout the 2020s as cold wars or kinetic wars are present, and as energy shortages come and go, having a foothold across the political spectrum is a useful form of defense to reduce the probabilities or to delay the timeframes of sweeping government attacks against bitcoin from the US, Europe, etc.

Neither side of the political spectrum is a monolith. Building cultures of anti-censorship on both sides is useful to push back on those from either side who always want to tighten the grip, to chip away at privacy, and to wall off the garden for information and finance.

Tried just this morning, Lyn. Dave Vetter tweeted out the NYT hit piece. I engaged courteously, shared some EPA data and info on Vespene mining; he responded aggressively then blocked me.
