I've always wanted a #Bitcoin clock on my desk. While going through my gear, I found some spare WT32 SC01 Plus dev boards, so I decided to build one!
It displays the BTC price in real-time and a Bitcoin-related quote every ten minutes.

Absolutely not.
They are built with chips scrapped from old S9 boards or other former ASICS. So firstly it depends on the Bitaxe vendor, bought 2 from d-central tech, they died within 2 months of usage.
I complained, and they block me on Twitter. Secondly low diff pools are really badly managed (daily reboots and constant crashes).
If you are running your own BTC node, and running your own hosted version of let’s say public pool, it s a different story though.
All in all futurebit is shipping better alternatives or you can build yourself a bitaxe since everything is open source.
Best way to make money with those is to actually sell them.
You are not decentralizing anything, because two years after those bitaxe were deployed I think that only one block was found so far but several thousand (I let you do the math).

I've Got a Question regarding the #coinbase API.
Maybe someone can clear things up for me.
This Coinbase API endpoint : https://api.coinbase.com/v2/exchange-rates?currency=BTC
Is publishing exchange rates vs #bitcoin.
It has a pair BTC/ERN at 1/13166.
"ERN" is an ISO code used by the Nakfa (Currency of Eritrea).
How come they are publishing this pair (BTC/ERN) but instead of using the currency ISO country code for eritrea they are using 'ERN' shitcoin "Ethernity chain".
How is that allowed ? Is this a possibility to recycle any country's currency ISO codes ?
Worst part is they are mixing the values, sometime it is advert as "ethernity chain", sometimes the currency of eritrea, the Nakfa :
