Lately, I’ve been diving into the people and projects that inspired Bitcoin
I’ve been fascinated with Friedrich Hayek’s work, the Austrian economist
The screenshot below is from his 1974 book on the denationalization of money
Hayek argued against the monopoly on money, advocating instead where both private and public entities could create different forms of currency, believing that the free market should determine which form of money best meets individuals’ needs
His work has given me a more broader perspective of Bitcoin and ‘crypto’. Representing the free market of money literally unfolding before our eyes, where individuals now have that power to choose
What fascinates me most is how Hayek dedicated his life to getting his economic theory to be broadly accepted, and now years after his passing, is organically doing so

Finished an 8-month client project today, contracting for a global energy company in Texas
I coached business leads on organizing and rallying their people behind a vision, and helping them get there
The project gave me incredible growth on coaching individuals in a high pressure, capital-focused environments. And better yet,
it gave me tremendous personal growth
It helped me see clearly what am I aligned to, what fills my cup and what energy I want to give to the world and how I wish to go about doing so
There were stressful moments, more than I can count on 10 fingers. Long working hours, extensive time away from home, thousands of KM away from friends and family
But I am truly grateful to be closing out the book on this chapter. It’s been a great read
I have no idea what life lessons the next chapter will bring, but I am very much looking forward to them
