I have a confession to make, Nostr frens.

I attended a conference at the state capitol Monday and Tuesday, and I did not book a hotel room for Monday night.

Instead of paying $136 for a room, I went to a nearby conservation area and hammock camped for free. Then I bought myself $136 worth of more Bitcoin.

I do not regret my decision. Of course, I could easily afford to pay for a room, but it was a beautiful night to be in the woods, my hammock was comfortable, and fiat-world hotel rooms are boring and not worth exchanging my time and labor for.

If you really want to stack sats, there is always a way.

Started the week with a scrap yard run. Just a load of junk I picked up around the farm and out of some old barns, but it was $116 dollars worth of metal.

While I was driving through the scrap yard, I saw a Ford truck they were starting to break down, and it happened to have mirrors compatible with my truck.

I've been driving around with a busted mirror for the last year,

so for $50 I got a replacement driver side mirror assembly.

Successfully converting trash to needed truck parts and cash for sats.

Came home the other day to find this in my kitchen floor.

In the sub zero temperatures, this calf was born and the cow apparently abandoned it. The calf showed up in our neighbor's yard. He claimed it wasn't his, nor did it belong to our neighbor to the north. He said the tracks came from our farm, and called my wife.

She went and got it, brought him home and laid him in front of the fireplace to warm up.

I was unable to find any clue as to which cow had the calf, so we have a bottle calf in the barn now.

He's currently healthy and doing fine.
