I wasn't saying all unintended behavior is a bug, just that these things are "alike" and disagreeing with the idea that everything which is permitted by the code is fine.

I wasn't even criticizing inefficient use of block space. In the case of ordinals I think we can rightly call them a complete waste of block space which is obviously worse.

Not as much so if the mempool is clogged for days. Usually we call that kind of thing a denial of service.

Nice. Is there a way to follow a hash tag without first seeing it in the wild?

I think it can. The software was designed with a purpose in mind, and some things cut against that purpose.

Saying it can't be abused is kind of like saying it can't have bugs, since both are unintended behavior that's nonetheless allowed.

Wild, I just read this exact quote in a book I was reading a few minutes ago

What a clown.

"Here's this money you have to use. By the way using it is a crime."

As was mentioned above breaking the linkage means even the exchange doesn't know how much you own. For all they know you already spent it all.

Whirlpool is integrated into Sparrow by default I think. I've been using this set up to automatically mix to cold storage for a while now and it works pretty well.

Just as a warning though it requires a lot of patience if you have a bunch of post mix UTXOs and you want a few rounds of mixing.

I would force my way out if that was prior to taking off

The worst and most widespread form of censorship may actually be self-censorship
