Oh yes. We have a mini puma like that at home. Personally seen him jump 6ft straight up and nearly snatch a bird from a feeder. Had to move the feeder up another foot.

Anti-Russian feelings exist in the western parts, but they have not been the prevalent attitude in the country historically. Half of Ukraine is ethnically Russian and speaks Russian, which is why they had elected a pro-Russian government before the 2014 coup.

What attempts at independence has Ukraine made "for hundred years" which Russia suppressed?

Nobody can take endless challenges and leave them without response. Everyone has their limits.

:D Easily and seamlessly handled by most IDEs, including vim. I mean I only use vim but if a free IDE can handle it I am sure so can the paid ones.

It is always a possibility and sure to happen in some cases.

Then again, I have a VPS with unlimited traffic for $4.1 monthly. There is no data to sell there.

If countries were people, then the BRICS states have the same goal as most nostr plebs - leave the centralised system and trade with each other in a parallel economy, using a currency of their choice.

Change my mind 🤓

My best guess is, to reduce spam/bot accounts. I mean that is a potential valid reason.

Seems on board with the new BRICS payment system, but is sold on the global warming scam... "(the limiting of global warming) requires dramatic action to reduce emissions".

The main reason I am for the BRICS payment system is that two centralised statist payment systems are a 100% more decentralised solution than a single one.

All state claims of 'emergencies' requiring 'dramatic action' are almost certainly a power grab scam.

Started watching Rogan's Trump episode, gave up 10 min in. Hope he wins, but don't find him interesting at all.

**Argument:**

Abortion should be legalized to protect those who are going to get abortions anyway from the harmful effects of "back alley" procedures.

**Examination of the argument:**

[*Legally proscribed action*] should be legalized to protect those who are going to [*break the law*] from [*the consequences*] of [*breaking the law*].

* Example 1 - [Murder] should be legalized to protect those who are going to [murder people anyway] from [the consequences] of [murdering someone].

* Example 2 - [Drunk driving] should be legalized to protect those who are going to [drink and drive anyway] from [the consequences] of [driving while drunk].

* Example 3 - [Theft] should be legalized to protect those who are going to [steal anyway] from [the consequences] of [stealing things].

As you can see, this argument has no merit in and of itself. It also assumes that the baby being aborted is not a person. If the baby is a person, then using the term "abortion" is just whitewashing the actual action of murder by calling it something else (refer back to Ex#1).

I personally think that there should definitely be consequences for unjustly taking someone else's life. I also believe that life begins at the moment of conception. Consequently, I have little sympathy for someone who is harmed in some way while committing or being an accessory to the commission of the crime of murdering babies.

Call abortion what it is:  Murder.

These days, the question is framed in a way that avoids the real issue.

When does life begin?

This IS something that can be decided at the national level. If there is any doubt, then you should error on the side of protecting life instead of lifestyle.

An unborn baby is a human.

Period.

Full stop.

So,  when is it OK to kill an innocent human?  This is the question that needs to be asked...

My personal view is that life begins at conception. This means no elective abortion ever.  If a medical emergency occurs and a choice of saving the mother or the baby must be made, then that is a different question.

Leviticus 20:1-5 NASB

Your argument makes sense re back alley procedures, but that is the weakest argument in defence of abortions.

What of the bodily autonomy of the woman? I personally find it the most important thing. If a woman brings to the world a child she doesn't want and therefore cannot lovingly care for, it helps nobody.

What if a woman or a child even is raped and then has no choice but to bring into the world the rapist's child?

It is not black and white.

I will forever remember ppl in offices and restaurants putting a mask on before going to make a coffee or getting a beer from the bar.

A perfect example of blind sheepish obedience.

I don't agree with that, at least it is far from a certainty that he doesn't fire some ppl because he secretly agrees with them.

The reality of politics is that nobody has absolute power.

The structure of BRICS seems much much more democratic than that of the EU.

BRICS is a step in the right direction, but very far from a perfect solution.
