Help me understand. How are you using eSIM on a ship without cell towers in the ocean and not using the ship’s infrastructure?
I understand that, but at sea the SIM service is provided by the cruise ship communications, which is the same as they use for WiFi. It’s all satellite. Speeds on your SIM data will be comparable if not slower than the WiFi provided by the ship. As mentioned, most cruises throw in free Internet as part of their incentives.
Getting more and more eager to try one of these.

What cruises are you traveling? Most of those I’ve been on recently have deals that include Starlink Internet. Speeds are pretty respectable and use the same comms link as what you’ll get with cellular at sea. I forget the last time I had to pay for Internet on a cruise.
Managed to link cashu wallet with npub.cash lightning address for zapping. Prob is it requires my cash.me wallet to be open in the browser. Next approach is to see if I can host a cashu server to avoid the PWA wallet. #cashu #nostr

Something I've observed on #nostr recently is the number of followers I've recently obtained that appear to be bots posting news. I'll not follow you back if your content is automated. I'm more likely to follow you if you're a human posting your opinions about the news instead of the news itself, which I can read elsewhere.
Agree to most of that list, although I do use the UW camera on my 14 pro. I also use magsafe a lot in the car. All this to be said that I'll unlikely be upgrading to the iPhone 17 anytime soon.
I didn't mind it, nothing surprising because we lived through it. I wish they'd have capped it off with mention of the future of social media and where we are today with Nostr and decentralized platforms.
