I think we just need a simple combination of nip28 and nip59 to make a simple moderated private group, trying to implement this idea in 0xchat.

The Alby account and the Nostr account are separate. Alby just helps you manage the Nostr account.

I’ve thought about this before. The ‘read’ status could be termed as ‘NIP’. It could improve the local algorithm for feeds and also introduce a ‘read receipt’ feature for DMs.
