I tested Vitor’s group approach, and with multi-threading, it takes about ~18 seconds to send a message to a group of 500 people on iPhone 13 Pro. Of course, there would be variations with different phones and networks, and it also depends on the rate limit restrictions of the relay. However, this seems to satisfy my needs.

And yes relay has a way to track some information, but it's much less than what can be tracked with unwrapped events. Additionally, I think Simplex's servers also have the capability to track user information, and this boils down to the issue of trust in relays.
Sir, I disagree with your view. Screenshot detection is merely a warning to the counter party and can enhance security to some extent.
Gift wrapping can improve the privacy of normal DMs from 50 to 90 points. Of course, it has some drawbacks for development, but these are imperceptible to users.
It seems that Nostr hasn't been officially defined as a public publishing protocol? I think what's interesting about Nostr is that it can accomplish interesting things through any different nips.

The video chat feature worked smoothly even with my crappy hotel internet connection in Argentina and talking with my friend nostr:npub16wh52wygyh27kgdl3x6dewfx9e0el4juhfsjtclj57xwnc3qsh2qdrjkd4 who's in Washington DC now.
Only problem was the audio call. It kept in "connecting" state, and it never really worked.
Another issue was that my Bluetooth earphones didn't work with the app. But maybe it doesn't have relation. Not sure.
I see a bright future for this messaging app based on Nostr.

It’s true for Nostr normal DM(nip-4), but not for the sealed DM (nip-24), and secret DM (Nip24+Nip101)

There is no foolproof solution to this issue, but it provides a measure to enhance the level of privacy and security.
When I need to input my nsec in other apps, I will check their source code or look at reviews from others i trust. If I'm still unsure, I'll create a new account to test it out.
