homophobic violence does not affect me, because i am heterosexual.

However, all of my homosexual friends are apprehensive of a potential increase in homophobia and violence towards homosexuals, since the electionn. To put it blunty, they are 'shit scared' right now.

I don't care who you are (and I know there are a multitude of religious nutcases out there who think homosexuals are evil), but if you are human and you can imagine what it might feel like to be hunted down and ultimayely to be treated as sub-human and maybe evrn executed.

To think that that is what is going through gay peoples minds right now in the USA, is not so dis-simular from what black people felt before slavery was abolished.

One could argue that equal rights still do not exist in the minds of the generations of people, who have been taught, by the powers that be, that the white/western/christisn version of history is correct and superior in comparison to any of the Southern or Eastern Continrnts sn d Countries, including the whole of Africa.

I can con firm this.. Me, my wife and all our 'niggars' ( basically slaves paid for by my wifes ' family (old money) down here in South Carolina) are all having a great time. Praise Jesus. I personally like the gays. I know a lot of gay people and some of them are among the kindest people i've ever met. don't know any sex workers really, though the ones i have met were daily active users of crack cocaine, so far as i could tell.

so how do you makes ends meet if you are not taking part in 'modern systems of slavery'? if that's not too personal a question.
