Because I want to find a way that allows me to contribute for others too. And "walking away" is one thing, but I still have to sustain myself for a long time (hopefully).
Productivity and thus sustenance is easier on the other side. When all the red tape and bullshit disappears, you can have pure productivity.
Many people can just work much less hours on the free side.
Ditch the red tape, get more done, achieve more; be fulfilled.
Is that too much to ask for?
Post-fiat everything: money, governance, education, identity, and anything that depends on an appeal to authority. Rationality is better than reacting because it requires proof of reason which only works when there is consensus.

My mode of operation is renaissance man. I write books, code, create courses, help people with startups, sometimes I do interest rate arbitrage. There are so many opportunities, you just need an open mind and definitely don't limit yourself in what you are doing. Do anything in which you are better than anyone else you know.

Yes, anyone who wants can walk away/opt out--while it may seem simple, and it is in a sense, for some people, it also requires commitment, focus, and constant work. We’re all deeply programmed. Unlearning a lifetime’s worth of conditioning is a loooooong journey. Possible, but not really straightforward. I've been on this journey for many years now... and finally learned as well that not everyone wants to be free.

I chose my passion over normal work but the financial rewards are meagre. However, it was still the right choice for me. I have more freedom than someone trapped in a 9-5 but a lot less freedom than someone living in a tax haven island somewhere.
Because you are either ignorant or do not want to get out of your comfort zone.
The simplest of options might just be the choice we tend to forget about in a culture where everyone is so ready to pick a fight...

I try to impress this idea on friends and family but they all have their own excuses why they just can’t.
I’m proof you can. I have never held a W2 job, never will. But I am comfortable in my modest life, now thankfully living on a Bitcoin standard. It’s a choice more than anything. A change of mindset. That’s all it takes to walk away.

Some people's basic needs are not met, nor do they have a basic understanding of financial literacy.
Thus, even if they do contribute to #BTC, they likely will contribute what they can't afford, leading to them selling in fear of the volatility or to cover their immediate needs.
To me, stack sats and be humble reminds me that not everyone can grasp Bitcoin given their perpetual cycle of poverty or life circumstances.
I personally keep a stack for loved ones, for I am only one person.
“Simply”, but how to pay the epectricity/water/waste bills? They accept only fiat, same with food producers. Can you generate everything on your own and avoid taxes (even for “your own” land)?

I know they cant come after all of us, but if one random person leaves their system, they gonna run after them. I would need to go live in the woods to properly leave their slavery system. And still, i would be on their property because they can claim back any property if they decide to do so.
