I switch my closets out at the time change every year, cull unworns and donate, mend tears, and discover old favorites. Then all laundry gets done on that day, yesterday. It took all day, but I reign triumphant, for these two days out of my year, gazing benevolently upon my previous dank overlords!

My little heart is heavy tonight. Today was my last day at my job. I start my new job this week. I’ve worked at the same place for many years (I left for a month during Covid because they wanted to mandate the vaxx) other than that this job has been my rock and like family. Nothing bad happened it was just time for me to grow. 💔

Sounds like my neighborhood up in the mountains of the North. We are just as well armed and tightly knit in regards to small communities. Not a place anyone wants to fuck around and find out in. Just a little less crazy when we are drunk and more book smart. lol

I moved out of the south, because I couldn't take the heat anymore. So I got out of the kitchen so to speak. I always said I can put more layers on, but I can't take my skin off when I go outside in a swamp state. I would always have a river of sweat leading down to my ass within 2 minutes of stepping outside in 100 degree 100% humidity weather.

I do miss it from time to time though. Especially the southern food and relaxing beaches.

The southern united states would be the absolute most hilarious place for any foreign, or domestic adversary to start a fight in. As someone who was born a southerner and lived in the deep south most of my life. They are the probably some of the most well armed and craziest mother fuckers ever to walk the face of the earth. Who also intimately known the lay of the land and are not scared of anything once they get a few beers in them.
