People are only supposed to confirm OFAC compliant transactions with their miners already. Do you think most of the world complies? Most American miners don’t comply.

I just don’t see how it could be done. Technically, speaking, bitcoin, cannot be banned. Sure, I guess there are some people who worry about legality that would comply. On the other hand, it is estimated that 22% of Americans own bitcoin. Most of those are fighting age males who own firearms. Forbidden

Always have been. Bitcoin just checks all the boxes. That’s not to say I didn’t learn about a few shitcoins. I got taken by a couple Ponzi schemes in my early 20s and shitcoinery was just obvious to me. I’ve never spent my dollars on any coin other than bitcoin.

P.S. David, if you’re read this far, might I suggest that you include some more permaculture/edge effect content. Tell us about your garden. Tell us about livestock, pets, kids, and how it relates to bitcoin. I believe that your podcast would be more popular if you made more of a personal connection with your audience.

Anything that is not bitcoin related needs the #grownostr tag. I gained several followers posting about my #homestead by using that tag. Secondly, I see lots of notes show up with #permies. Since a lot of permaculture enthusiasts are homesteaders and vice versa you can gain attention by taking advantage of the crossover. Finally #farming and #farmlife seem to be popular among people that would be interested in #homestead.

I came to the conclusion above by searching different #’s, scroll down a bit and see how many posts contain that # for a certain time period (whatever sample size you want.) and divide by the number of posts to get a rough estimate of popularity. Read a few posts to make a judgement on relevance and make sure you aren’t spamming.
